Intro
Raymarine is the boat’s navigation and awareness layer: chartplotting, radar, autopilot, AIS, and depth/speed sensing wired as one stack. This page will grow into a systems reference — components, purpose, wiring overview, and honest affiliate slots for gear that matches what we use.

Purpose of each
- MFD / chartplotter — the glass helm: charts, overlays, and the hub for the network.
- Radar — sees weather cells and traffic when eyes alone aren’t enough.
- Autopilot — holds a course so the crew can handle sail, watch, or rest.
- AIS — shows who’s out there and announces us.
- Transducers — depth and speed into the same picture.
